I have tickets and a companion for Anoushka Shankar's performance on August 10. Shankar is the daughter of Ravi Shankar, the past-master of sitar music, and an accomplished player and composer in her own right.

And the Chan Centre, on the UBC Endowment Lands, is the perfect venue for her. It'll be sweet.
